6:30-10:30:  Austin Peralta Quartet

Composer/pianist Austin Peralta, has recorded/toured with such jazz luminaries as:  Ron Carter, Billy Kilson, Buster Williams, Steve Nelson, Marcus Strickland, Shafiq Husayn, The Cinematic Orchestra, Adam Rudolph’s Go: Organic Orchestra, Pan Afrikan People’s Arkestra, & Don Friedman among many others.  At the 2007 Tokyo Jazz Festival, Peralta was part of a “dream team” piano quartet that included the legendary Chick Corea, Hank Jones, and Hiromi Uehara.  He has studied with noted mentors Bruce Sutherland, Alan Pasqua, Buddy Collette, Reggie Workman, Edward Simon, and Kenny Cox.

Peralta is member of the Brainfeeder artist roster along with Flying Lotus, Daedalus, The Gaslamp Killer, Strangeloop and many others. His third album, a self-produced project, will be released on the Brainfeeder label in 2010.
