Pat Senatore Trio with Josh Nelson and Larry Koonse

"When bassist Pat Senatore convenes his trio … something quite magical happens.  Within the contours of the song form, a three-way musical conversation transpires where color, space, dynamics, rhythm and melodic invention flow freely.  It’s supposed to happen all the time in jazz but rarely does it occur with such joyful synchronicity." --Kirk Silsbee, Downbeat
