Classic, Charismatic, Sexy.... Those are just a few words that describe this young showstopper!!!
With a voice that's absolutely gorgeous, Brandon Wattz is a must see in concert!
Brandon’s earliest memories were honed around staying up late with his dad and listening to classic R&B records like Sam Cooke’s “Change is Gonna Come” and Johnny Taylor’s “Just One moment’. “I loved it”, he recalls. “Something about the instrumentation and vocal delivery just reached out to me”. Among his biggest influences he lists Nat “King” Cole, Sam Cooke, Eddie Kendricks. Brandon says “Yeah, it’s an honor to come from the same place as those guys who have paved the way” (Both Nat and Eddie are Alabama natives).
Now the hours spent listening to all those old records are beginning to pay off as Brandon blossoms into the next great soul singer. Brandon has a relaxed, easy going manner that exudes charisma. With a sexy frame and charismatic persona, it's not hard to see why audiences (especially female fans) fall in love with him.
Some career highlights thus far include a Christmas Performance for former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice 2011, 2013 Stax Records Tribute Tour in Europe and most recently performances at Peyton Manning's Retirement Party 2016 & Maria Shiver's 60th Birthday Bash with Stevie Wonder and Oprah Winfrey.
He’s currently being shopped to labels and also interviewing potential management and has been working with a few industry execs, including the legendary Grammy-winning writer and producer Preston Glass, on some new tunes for his 2017 debut album. Preston raves "His voice is like slow honey that only gets sweeter as you savor it. I love the fact that he paints new colors from the classic soul palette”.
Brandon adds “Love songs aren’t dead” he laughs. “I think women and men alike will find my album refreshing and relevant – if they are into slow jams they’ll definitely connect with this album. Currently, Mr. Wattz is set to release his self-titled album, early 2017.
