The Crossroads School Jazz Department, under the direction of Evan Avery, includes three jazz combos made up of talented ninth- through 12th-graders. These groups perform concerts throughout the year in venues around Los Angeles, and record a CD every two years. Members of the Crossroads Jazz Department have been finalists in the Music Center Spotlight Awards, have been accepted into the prestigious YoungArts and Vale Summer Jazz programs, have won numerous DownBeat Student Music Awards and have performed in the Panama International Jazz Festival. Crossroads Jazz is excited to perform at the Vibrato Grill.
Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences is a K-12, coed college preparatory school in Santa Monica, California.
