Ryan DeHues

Cover: $20 // Show: 8:00pm

“A New Voice for the Timeless Classics”

Ryan valiantly keeps the flame burning for singing in the tradition of his influences—Frank Sinatra, Jack Jones, Bobby Darin and Mel Torme. The music he sings reflects meticulous taste and the quality standards of the American songbook writers such as Cole Porter, Jerome Kern, Sammy Cahn and Hoagy Carmichael. Ryan also incorporates songs of today in a style that retains the sophisticated flavor of traditional pop music.

Ryan's natural baritone voice is smooth, polished and perfect for the music that captured his attention at the age of 12. He interprets the music he sings with his wonderful tone control and puts sincere feeling into every song. With supreme confidence, he leaps on the stage, belting out smooth polished numbers with all the finesse of an old pro. Towering over six-feet tall, he flashes a golden smile enjoyed by admirers of all ages.

Ryan started his professional career by winning Pat Boone's “Search for America’s Next Great Crooner” contest when he was only a 16 yr. old Chesaning, Michigan high school student. After submitting a video he was immediately signed to Pat's recording company, "The Gold Label" where he has since released two albums produced by Boone, with a third collaborative project being recorded in France at this time.

Ryan has performed coast to coast both in jazz clubs and on the concert stage with big bands and orchestras.

How wonderful it is that good music has an ambassador in Ryan DeHues! Ryan’s voice is one that you cannot and will not ignore, and one you will want to hear again and again.
