Bob DeSena is a multi-award winning Latin Jazz Artist / Producer / Entertainer. Some of the major influences in Bob DeSena's early music career with respect to the Vibraphone are the famous Roy Ayers, Tito Puente and Cal Tjader. On brass it was Freddie Hubbard, Maynard Ferguson and Herb Alpert. An impressive Jazz artist, Bob DeSena plays a multitude of instruments that include Vibes, Trumpet, Flugelhorn and Vocalist.
A veteran in the music industry for over four decades, Bob is an accomplished Artist, Performer, Band Leader and Executive Producer. During this time span, he produced three successful CDs as Artist / Producer sharing his music both nationally and abroad. Bob has received several accolades. In 2014 Bob was nominated and won "Jazz Artist of the Year" for the 24th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards. Subsequently his third release "After Midnight" won "Best Jazz Album" at the 24th annual Los Angeles Music Awards.
In 2015, Bob was nominated for "International Artist of the Year" representing the United States at the 25th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards. That same year he was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Alumni Award in Entertainment. Bob was a recipient of another Lifetime Achievement for "Outstanding Live Musical Performer" at the 2016 Producers Choice Honors Red Carpet Event in Los Angeles and most recently, the 2017 Las Vegas Producers Choice Honors Red Carpet Event for his tribute to Santana.
A current resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, Bob continues to entertain audiences with his high-energy Latin Jazz entertainment at venues globally as well as locally and can be heard on Pandora, I Heart Radio and other internet and commercial radio stations.
