NAMM Jam Weekend Hosted by David Garfield

David Garfield’s mission statement is “I make music.” And “make music” he does, as a world-renowned keyboard artist, producer, and composer. Be it jazz, rock, funk, or world beat – he is the creative force behind the production of many internationally acclaimed recordings. Starting his career with jazz greats such as Willie Bobo, Freddie Hubbard, and Tom Scott in the 70’s and then becoming a mainstay of the L.A. scene for many years both live and in the studios. Garfield is currently George Benson’s Musical Director and has arranged and recorded for Smokey Robinson, Van Morrison, Cher, Spinal Tap, The Rippingtons, and Larry Carlton. He has performed live with Natalie Cole, David Sanborn, The Blue Brothers, Brenda Russell, Oleta Adams, and Rick Braun to name a few. Most recently, he has released the critically acclaimed single “Go Home” currently #1 on the Smooth Jazz Network national airplay chart and #1 on the Billboard Smooth Jazz radio chart and has recordings soon to be released featuring collaborations with industry veterans Randy Brecker, Poncho Sanchez, & Michael McDonald.
