This is what the critics are saying about Joanne:
..”exceptionally beautiful voice... reminiscent of the pop balladeers of the late '50's and early '60's, but with a fine-drawn intensity and shimmering vibrato that are all her own” — The Washington Post
"If you get a chance to see Joanne Tatham perform live, get moving! She's something you won't want to miss.” — Penthouse Magazine
Joanne Tatham returns to Vibrato after last year’s successful launch of her CD "Out of My Dreams" -- which debuted at #26 on the Jazz Week chart and can be heard on Sirius XM's Real Jazz among other stations nationwide.
Joanne, a favorite of audiences from her native New York to her adopted home in Los Angeles, is equally at home in the worlds of Jazz and the Great American Songbook.
She has appeared several times at Vibrato; in Palm Springs at the Annenberg Theater and as a guest with the Desert Cities Jazz Band; and in New York she has appeared at The Town Hall, The Duplex, The Triad, Feinstein's at Loews Regency, The Metropolitan Room and The Cafe Carlyle. Ms. Tatham has appeared in several of the prestigious Mabel Mercer Foundation Cabaret Conventions. Her first two recordings, Making Light and The Merriest have received airplay across the country.
Joining her for this engagement are: Max Haymer (p), Dave Robaire (b) and Dan Schnelle (d).
