Pamela Clay is a singer-actress-songwriter and world-traveled Army brat fluent in French, whose vocal abilities span a broad spectrum from jazz to R & B to pop to country to cabaret to Broadway.
Late great Grammy winner Lou Rawls said she’s got one of the best voices he’d ever heard, and esteemed critic Richard Blackwell wrote: “A voice that will have you mesmerized”! Her first one-woman show was at JFK Center, first film role opposite Tommy Lee Jones, and first solo show at Feinstein’s 54 Below NYC. In Los Angeles, she’s starred at John Anson Ford Amphitheatre, headlined at Catalina Jazz Club, Long Beach Lobster Festival, Wilshire-Ebell, Vitellos, and House of Blues, and often hired for private parties/special events for Thalians, etc. Her Warner-Chappell-licensed French compositions featured recently on television’s Supernatural, and songs written/recorded with her all-original New Orleans-flavored rock band, Catahoula, in feature films, licensed by Red Queen Music, division of Harry Warren’s publishing company, and performed live with Randy Newman, and at Troubadour, Whisky, Roxy, Federal, Molly Malone’s etc. Pamela currently resides with husband Bruce Bermudez, New Orleans-born artist-musician and Catahoula co-founder, in the Hollywood Hills.
