Igor Kogan is a versatile composer, arranger and bass player, who has performed at prestigious venues and festivals in U.S and Europe, including Jazz at Lincoln Center and Steinway Hall (NYC), Bern Jazz Festival (Switzerland), Red Sea Jazz Festival (Israel); and appeared at renowned jazz clubs Zinc, Smalls, Fat Cat (New York); Blue Whale, H.O.M.E., The Lighthouse, Vitellos (Los Angeles) among other venues as a leader and as a sideman with Plas Johnson, Jerome Jennings, Joey Morant, Valery Ponomarev, Anat Cohen, Mike Price, Mitch Manker, Gary Herbig to name a few.
After spending several years in New York working as a performing and recording bass player and composer/arranger for Broadway musical shows, he relocated to Los Angeles in 2014, where he stays busy performing with his big band and jazz quintet, as well as working on a variety of commercial projects, film scores and live music productions.
