A spectacular evening awaits you next Tuesday night at Herb Alpert’s Vibrato Grill and Jazz as Annie Trousseau is going BIGGER than ever with her Brand New Big Band in their first show of the year!
The night will feature Annie’s signature, multilingual, world music in French, English, Spanish, German and Italian... with fresh arrangements of her carefully curated and unforgettable vintage gems. It’s a night you won’t want to miss!
Annie’s multi lingual renditions of the obscure and the familiar are all nimbly arranged with wit and swagger alike–whether a punchy Brigitte Bardot confection, or a sexy nod to the bossa nova, Annie always gets it right. Hers is truly a Trousseau-like collection of eclectic songs that clearly speak to her in Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian and English.
Annie Trousseau is a crowd pleasing, multilingual chanteuse in the tradition of Edith Piaf & Marlene Dietrich. She and her band put on a show that truly defines the words show business. - Dailey Pike (Jazz Photographer)
Annie Trousseau features performer Ana Maria Lombo, who was once one-fifth of pop group Eden's Crush, which was created on reality TV Popstars, which aired in spring of 2001 on the now-defunct WB Network. Eden's Crush disbanded after just one album together when their label London-Sire folded. In Annie Trousseau she continues to bring a largely multicultural finesse to her presentation, resulting in a record that is not only world-class, but one that is able to transcend expectation.
