Lou Forestieri and Corliss Dale are a dynamic swinging duo that came together through music and romance nearly 20 years ago. He plays, she sings and performs, and yes...they’re married. They came together sharing many years of experience between them.

Lou has played for such jazz legends as Lena Horne, Peggy Lee, Johnny Hartman, Zoot Sims and most recently, Jack Jones. He has arranged for many artists including Mel Torme, Maureen McGovern and Roberto Carlos. Lou is also an orchestral composer and has written and composed for both TV and film including the long running “Diagnosis Murder” starring Dick Van Dyke. Lou has also coached actors to play piano on film such as Jeff Bridges in “The Fabulous Baker Boys” and Angelina Jolie in “Beyond Borders”.

Corliss has a smooth and sultry style and a warm engaging presence on stage. Her rhythmic sense and ability to really swing will keep your toes tapping. Corliss has been singing and entertaining audiences professionally since she was just 16 years of age in jazz venues and cabaret clubs across the country and has also had an extensive career as a studio singer with many national jingles under her belt.

Lou and Corliss have recorded 2 albums for the Mainstem record label and enjoy writing original songs together. They happily reside in Studio City, California and continue to perform at jazz festivals and clubs throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Joining Lou and Corliss for their engagement here at Vibrato will be Chris Colangelo on bass, Jimmy Branly on drums and Doug Webb playing saxophone.
