Andy James

Cover: $25 per person // Show: 7:30pm

Andy James is celebrating an incredibly exciting year of touring and recording. She just finished a luscious album (her fifth) called “Shared Lives” entitled from a fantastic original number written by the incomparable Bill Cunliffe, her musical director and arranger. And there’s no better way to complete an album called “Shared Lives” than with a series of incredible jazz tunes sharing the limelight with some of the most adored and acclaimed musicians on the planet: Bill Cunliffe, Ernie Watts, Rick Margitza, Terrell Stafford, Chuck Berghafer, Joe LaBarbera, Marvin “Smitty” Smith, Alex Acuña, and Jake Langley.

Rounding out her nearly year-long “Little Wow” Tour, top selections you’ll hear from her recent albums include music from Broadway and the Great American Songbook including “Whatever Lola Wants,” “What Is This Thing Called Love,” and “But Not For Me,” running all the way through to some of the most fantastic 60’s hits like “Moon River,” “Grapevine,” “Peter Gunn,” and the iconic “These Boots are Made for Walkin’.” Andy is a captivating performer that is elegant and exciting with just a little dash of wicked. Her regular band will be out in full force injecting the evening with power and style – they include Chris Colangelo (Bass), Jake Langley (Guitar), Marvin “Smitty” Smith (Drums), Kye Palmer (Trumpet), Charles McNeal (Alto Sax), and Brandon Fields (Tenor Sax). This is an evening you will not want to miss!
