TORMÉ Sings TORMÉ & More!
Steve March-Tormé, first-born son of legendary jazz icon Mel Tormé, presents a first class performance of music and memories in tribute to the 20th anniversary of his beloved Dad’s passing. Blessed with Mel's internalized rhythm, spot on intonation & a natural sense of swing, Steve sings many of his father’s best known tunes, but in his own inimitable style.
Song selections include; Lulu’s Back in Town, Mountain Greenery, Blue Moon, Just One of Those Things/ Green Dolphin St. and Born to Be Blue. A new album, featuring some of these selections will be out in 2020. Steve will also sprinkle in some of his original tunes and a few surprises. Of course, no matter the time of year, Mel's own original, The Christmas Song will be waiting in the wings if the occasion calls for it. Steve also shares personal stories, little known facts and insights into his relationship with his famous Dad. This is a "must see" show!
