"Two friends, singing the music of two friends”.

Nicolas Bearde, singer/songwriter and actor is the definitive jazz vocalist whose music often blurs the lines between Jazz, Blues and Soul, and whose silky baritone sounds invites comparison to Lou Rawls, Joe Williams, Billy Eckstine and Nat King Cole.

Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Nicolas has called the San Francisco/Bay Area his home for over 30 years, while touring globally with various bands, including his Trio, and… as the vocalist and narrator for famed saxman Vincent Herring’s 10 piece “Story of Jazz Orchestra” based in New York.

He has sung with McFerrin and acted with Eastwood, and his highly engaging stage presentations, dynamic recordings of original compositions and classic jazz hits include the music of legendary songwriters - ranging from Burt Bacharach and Duke Ellington to Herbie Hancock and Jon Lucien. His 5th album, “Invitation” was produced and arranged by Nat Adderley Jr. and his 6th studio album, celebrating the music of Nat King Cole will be released this fall.

Dan Bilawsky of All About Jazz says,

“When Nicolas Bearde's soulful and affecting baritone sits atop impeccably tailored arrangements of sterling standards, the results are absolutely stunning…"
